Knob Top (x1), Knob Bottom (x1), Alcohol Wipe (x1), USB-C Charger (Charging Cable + Brick) (x1), Install Spacer (x2), Install Key (x1), Colored Stickers, Reset Pin, Sandpaper.
Ensure visibility of the Knob. Use both hands to pull the Knob Top apart from the Knob Bottom in a downward motion.
Place one sticker on the Knob Top and a matching sticker on the Knob Bottom, using the same color for both.
**Each Smart Knob must have its own unique color. The Knob Top and Knob Bottom with matching stickers must stay together as a pair and cannot be swapped with parts from other Smart Knobs.
Charge your Knob Top by plugging it into the included charger. The Knob's LED lights should flash blue to indicate it is charging (it will turn solid blue once fully charged).
Remove your original stove knob and any plastic or rubber pieces that can be detached. Do not remove any permanently attached parts.
Wipe down the surface around the stove shaft with the alcohol wipe to clear any grease, dirt, or debris.
Figure out where the off position is and take note.
Place the Knob Bottom on the stove shaft with the gold pins pointing to OFF.
Use the install key to tighten the shaft so it's centered. Twist right to tighten a little bit (do not tighten all the way). You should still be able to remove the Knob Bottom off the shaft easily.
Pull the Knob Bottom off, flip it, and remove the adhesives from the rim of the bottom.
Slide the Knob Bottom back onto the shaft with the gold pins facing the off position. Push down and hold for 15 seconds to secure the reaction plate on the stove surface.
Insert the install spacer behind the Knob Bottom and against the stove surface. It should fit around the reaction plate.
**For Electric Ranges, use the orange install spacer. For Gas Ranges, use the white install spacer.
Push down on the knob so it is sitting flush against the install spacer. Use the install key to tighten the Knob Bottom completely. Make sure it is secure.
Remove the install spacer from behind the Knob Bottom.
Ensure the burner surface is clear of all objects. Push and turn the Knob Bottom to turn the burner on and off.
** If this doesn’t work properly, loosen the shaft and restart the installation process. You can also reach out to customer support for assistance!
Attach the Knob Top to the Knob Bottom, ensuring the pins and notch align at the OFF position.
